If you want to stay local, nearby Needles, CA, only 15 minutes away.  It’s a small town but does have a Dairy Queen to cool you down and a Shell gas station to fill up your vehicle, among other places. There is also a nice little museum downtown where you can learn all about Historic Route 66. If you need supplies you can head over to Walmart in Bullhead City, AZ, a short 38 minute drive!

Try this starting from March to June, where bounty harvest is possible such as Blackberry, Blueberry, Currant, Fruit Trees, Grapes, Raspberry Plants and Strawberry. And if you want to experience a healthy lifestyle we would prefer you to plant veggies such as Cabbage, Eggplants, Garlic, Lettuce, Collards, Cauliflower, Carrots, Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli Raab and Broccoli for the month of January to February. Also for the month only of February; Celery, Chinese Cabbage, Beets and Beans are most suggested. Another are, Cowpeas, Corn, Horseradish and Asparagus for the month of February to March. Arugula and Asian Greens are possible for direct sower for the month of February to March. Also for the month of February up until April you can grow Cucumber and Cantaloupe. And lastly for the month of October for the average first frost is the Cover Cops.
