That is a lot of wide open territory for you to explore, enjoy, and build up on if you want to. Otherwise, keep it for the pure joy of having land you can adventure on! Camp, hike, explore the earth for sparkling gold shimmers, star gaze, off road with your land toys, and do whatever else you want when you own this prime property. Just take a look at the GPS to see all of the gold mining areas surrounding this location. Did you know that gold mining is a major industry in Nevada? In fact, Wikipedia says in 2013 mining overall contributed $9.04 billion to the state’s economy, $8.1 billion from gold and silver mining. See the list of ACTIVE gold mines here. Oh the potential!
Drive less than 15 minutes to Cortez Gold Mine which is just South East of you. It only takes 30 minutes to go South West to the Fire Creek Mine. Interested in Gold mines by rivers? Just go 17 minutes East to New Gold Nevada and see what sparkles in their area or in the water on the way! While you are there, bring your fishing pole and spend a few hours enjoying Humboldt River. Bring your gold panning sifter too!
If you need to head to the nearest town and stock up on supplies at a Walmart then you can find one 54 miles North East of you in the city of Elko. There you will find many more shops and restaurants.
If you are not into chain food as much and would rather eat at local diners, then consider swinging up to Carlin 33 miles from you or 43 miles West to Battle Mountain. If you have friend flying in to the Battle Mountain Airport then take them on a scenic tour of the neighboring Peaks that surround the horizon from your land. There Long Peak, North Peak, Antler Peak, and Argenta Rim West (all to the West). There’s Bens Peak, Bald Mountain, Mt Lewis, and Havingdon Peak (all to the South) and finally there is Agenta Rim East. (North of you). That is a lot of options for great hikes!
One thing you will absolutely love about owning this land is that you can go 2 hours South East to Shanty Town, NV and enjoy the most beautiful wildlife refuge around, the Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge! View pictures here. Pass the Narcise Springs to find the Narciss Boat Landing Access Road once you are there..
Just think, if you own this land, not only are you in Gold Mine country, but you can go pretty much any direction and find more adventures, between hiking peaks, fishing in rivers, enjoying water scenes on wildlife refuges, and more!
All trees are beneficial to wildlife in some form or fashion. Food, cover, and water are the pillars of necessity for all walks of wildlife, and trees can provide both food and cover. Acorns from oaks, and leaves and fruits of mulberries are favorite foods by many, and a long row of mixed trees in a barren landscape of the Midwest can provide enough cover to provide safe travels to feeding areas. Advanced tree planting techniques and superior stock means nuts and fruits can mature in a hurry. So why not planting more plants? Architoke may be right for best starting that can be direct sow in the month of March and can be sow indoors by the month of January. Arugula on the other hand can be planted duringFebruary to March. Green leafy veggies also can be added in your lists like Asian Greens, Broccoli, Broccoli Raab, Brokali, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbages, Chinese Cabbage, Collards, Corn Salad, Endive, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leeks, Lettuce, Mesclun, Microgreens, Mustard, Rhubarb, Salad Greens and Spinach are can be planted by the month February to March. Beans by the month of March to May, Carrots during February to March, Corn as well by the month of May. Cucumber during May-June. Spices like garlic can be transplant by the month of March-April as well as onions. Peppers on the other hand can be sow indoors in the month of March-April, Tomatoes by the month of March-April and fruits like Watermelon and Zucchini during May.

About the Seller: I am Luke Smith. I review thousands of properties for every one that I buy in order to bring you the BEST deal possible. The pricing I get them at is reflected in the pricing of what I am selling them for. They are priced at half the current market price or less TO SELL (and not be listed for years). Because of their price they don’t usually stay for sale for very long. The first one to go to pay for it gets it. There is a checkout button on my site. If you would like to pay another way please let me know and I will help set it up.
If you are interested in one of my properties please Google your questions and or check out the FAQ section on my website. I have never been to this property. Everything I know about the property is on my website.
