ABOUT BELEN AND LOS LUNAS

Belen is one of the largest cities in Valencia County. It is geographically at the center of New Mexico and is a transportation hub for the state. There is a commuter railroad to Albuquerque and Santa Fe in Belen and several festivals throughout the year. The total population is around 7,000.

Property values in Belen and the surrounding area are likely to see a boost due to the upcoming construction of a Facebook data center in Los Lunas (15 minutes outside of Belen). Los Lunas also recently won a $1.3 million federal grant to bring water infrastructure to the newly constructed Central New Mexico Rail Park. The construction of the rail park and its attendant infrastructure should bring thousands of jobs to the area, raising property values.
